On Father's Day this year the wife, myself, and youngest Wesley went on a day trip drive through the White Mountains, you can read about it here: Father's Day in the White Mountains.

During the trip we went to Chutter's Lincoln store with the sole purpose that I was looking for the delicious Frooties.  The Littleton location as has them and even the though the candy counter is roughly 40 feet shorter in Lincoln I thought that they must have this penny candy.  They didn't.

Although it was a bit upsetting I wasn't going to let it ruin the day.

When we got back into Maine we passed this place that had signs out front stating that they had penny candy, and you just drove by the penny candy.  So I turned around and went back just in case they had the elusive Frooties, and they did!

Speaking to Jason, the proprietor, they have been making fudge and selling other items for over 20 years, adding the candy in 2012.  They had so much to chose from candy old and new, some I hadn't seen for years and years.

It's a fun place and if I'm ever in the area I will be sure to stop in for more candy!
